Archive for February, 2010Jam session with Kurosawa-san :)It’s been busy for Pali lately and I am sorry for not posting lately.. Well, PALI got to jam with Mr Kurosawa of Gospellers, Japan’s super famous soul, R&B group, along with Keiji Matsumoto, super keyboard player who tour with yet again, many super famous musicians in Japan. Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii 2010PALI had a great time at Ukulele picnic in Hawaii 2010 @ Kakaako Water Front Park. They were the final act of the day, played 3 songs.. started off with Kawika, Misirlou featuring Kalei Gamiao, and …the surprise song….”Katte ni shindobaddo” by Southern All Stars with Sekiguchi-san and Hiroshi Matsuda from SAS…!!! Holy cow!! Ukulele Picnic in HawaiiKa’aihue ohana has been helping out Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii’s executive producers Mr and Mrs Sekiguchi, (Sekiguchi-san is a bass player of super famous group in Japan called Southern All Stars, also a producer, author, among many other things he does..) as their goal is to help establish the strong relationship between Japan and Hawaii [...] PALI and Kalei Gamiao on Perry and Price, Ukulele Picnic Promo!PALI and Kalei Gamiao were the guest on Perry and Price show this morning as we talked about the upcoming Ukulele Picnic in Hawaii Vol 2. Southern All Star’s Sekiguchi-san and his wife, president of ukulele foundation, Jody Kamisato…all came out to support. PALI featuring Kalei Gamiao will be performing from 6:05pm on Feb 13th [...] |
